Effective May 20, 2026
BowlRx (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides website design, hosting, and related digital services for bowling centers through bowlrx.com and related products operated with our partners at eBowl.biz and alpine.io. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our site, request a demo, run a free SEO and Accessibility audit, or otherwise interact with us.
By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.
Information we collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Contact and account information — such as your name, email address, phone number, bowling center name, and messages you send through contact forms or when requesting a demo.
- Website and SEO and Accessibility audit data — when you use our free SEO and Accessibility audit tool, we collect the URL or domain you submit, technical scan results, and the email address if you choose to receive a report by email.
- Customer website content — if you are a BowlRx client, we process content you provide for your website (text, images, hours, promotions, logos, and similar materials) solely to build and maintain your site.
- Usage and technical data — such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring URLs, and cookies or similar technologies that help us operate and improve the site.
- Communications — records of support requests, email correspondence, and notifications you receive from us.
How we use information
We use information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve our websites, SEO audit tool, and client services;
- Build, host, and update websites for bowling center customers;
- Send audit reports, service updates, and marketing communications where permitted;
- Respond to inquiries, provide support, and process transactions;
- Monitor security, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our terms;
- Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
Free SEO audit tool
When you run a free SEO and Accessibility audit, we fetch and analyze publicly available information from the URL you provide. We may generate a screenshot of the page using a third-party capture service. Audit results may be stored for a limited time so you can view, download, or email your report. If you request email delivery, we send the report to the address you provide using our email service provider.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers — such as hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment processing, and website screenshot providers, who process data on our behalf under contractual obligations;
- Business partners — including eBowl.biz and alpine.io, where necessary to deliver services you request or where we jointly operate products;
- Legal and safety purposes — when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BowlRx, our users, or others;
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, keep you signed in where applicable, measure site performance, and understand how visitors use our website. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit certain features.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. SEO audit data may be deleted or anonymized after a reasonable period unless you are an active client or we need the data for ongoing support.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you;
- Opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in our messages;
- Object to or restrict certain processing, where applicable law provides those rights;
- Submit a complaint to a data protection authority.
